Living the Dream

Mark Barnes

As a result of Mark’s work with Team Managers, Coaches and Athletes through the British Olympic Association, Mark was commissioned to write Living the Dream by the Youth Sport Trust. Originally published to coincide with the Beijing Olympic Games, this booklet has been used to support the Junior Athlete Education Programme for gifted and talented young people, initially preparing for the 2012 London Games, and will now be used as part of athlete preparation for 2016, 2020 and beyond. It is expected to have a print run of up to 250,000.

Focusing on Goal Setting, Planning and Proactivity, Living the Dream helps young athletes to plan their journey towards their own definition of success – balancing all aspects of their life and building their own ‘Team You’ .
